This "hotel" is a sh***hole, honestly! I really regret not having checked Tripadvisor before I went there. Thing is: the hotel is close to the main station and looks okay from the outside - especially when you are tired from a long journey. BUT inside it feels like a prison with tiny cells without windows and receptionists who act like... More

It cant be called hotel, first of all to reach to the room you have to go for small hall with very low ceiling,in the hall there are the common toilets, small and dirty with intense smell pee, the room is storage room with two very small bed, walls full of dams and insects, everything dirty. This is a very low budget hotel, and for those on a shoestring budget, offers some very small rooms with shared bathrooms, which are dirty. The room I stayed in had no window, no furniture etc and large enough for only a single bed to fit in, and only an AC in the name of creature comfort! Can't think of... More

I happened to visit Mumbai last December and happened to stay in this so called hotel. The rooms on the 2nd floor are like jail barracks with AC which also not give proper cooling. Also the staff charges luxury tax from some customers while exempting from those who were protesting showing their double standards. Also the food served in the rooms is... More

The location of the hotel is excellent, it's just opposite the main gate of CST station. Cross the road and you are there. Recepion people are nice and helpful. Rooms are very small. The room can accomdate only one double bed and there is no movement space. One small drawer is there, and a folding breakfast table is attached to... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel because it is close to the CST. I would not recommend this place. This is too expensive for what it is: tiny rooms (without window), dirty, mould, no shower inside the badroom but just a bucket. No plug inside the rooms. Only one remote control to manage air-conditioning devices of all the rooms... More

The first thing that comes to my mind when i think of city palace is tiny, very tiny rooms, which weren't standard ones, they were deluxe, wonder how small the standard ones were. Very few services with no special amenities like wifi hotspot or car parking. But the fare was very reasonable too,and considering the location, that is besides CST it is a good place... More

the BIG plus of this hotel is it is located just opp to the CST Station and very useful for train commuters having short visits as sometimes travelling within Mumbai can be tedious due to traffic. Apart from that there is nothing great to talk about the hotel. Rooms are too small with below average service levels.

First let me set expectations. Mumbai is one of the most expensive places in India so you have to pay a lot more for somewhere acceptable that places like Delhi, about twice as much unless you stay out in the non+Tourist areas like Bandar. We opted for Hotel City Palace because we could not find anywhere else in Fort area.... More

Its one of the cheapest hotel in south mumbai. I was travelling with my girlfriend for a family function. The rooms r smaller than a apartment bathroom. The location is around CST station. The staff is pretty rude. I would suggest one would get a lot of better hotels around this area like the railway hotel or harbour view for... More
