However i did not like the accommodation, though the cost was very reasonable at around Rs 8,000 per day. The property is developed by converting a heritage building. I stayed here for 2 nights in a Palace Room. This was my 3rd stay at the hotel. I would say the facilities & overall experience have definitely improved since my last stay in 2002. Despite some disappointments, it still retains a certain magic & charm that are hard to replicate with newer hotels. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it... more

A most excellent hotel. Western prices but that seems to be standard for 5 star hotels.
