I love this hotel. It is, of course, very expensive, but we were on our honeymoon and spared no expense. You feel like a maharaja staying here. more

Pure excitement filled as we arrived at this grand palace. Upon arrival we were greeted with a tilk (red dot) on the forehead and a garland of flowers. One of the best luxury hotels in the Taj group hotel chain within India. The vast grounds, attention to exquisite detail, and the ambience at night, coupled with great cuisine and hospitality,... more

It was 1st time during my business trip i had taken my family also - my kids were not very interested to join me in the 1st place. But once we reached the hotel and they saw the things they can do there - the whole mood changed. I could do my work in peace and they had great time.... more

I planned to take my wife back in history in all its grandeur for 3 days by taking her to the Taj Rambagh Palace at Jaipur. This was in December 2007. It was a sheer extravagance, maharaja style. It al started with the hotel's pick up at the airport in the upgraded Honda CRv. The airport staff were ever ready... more

Rambagh is a sight to see but it is so huge we found it strangely lacking in ambience. Our room was excellent and we were upgraded. The food was delicious but very expensive - 2 dinners and drinks came to £240 which was one hell of a bill to see on the credit card after the holiday. They have recently... more

We stayed in a basic room - which was huge, beautiful, had its own balcony with chairs and a table outside and we couldnt have been happier. The service was excellent and at night the Palace looks completely magical. We had the food from the Indian restaurant (but sat outside) - which was delicious, (the paneer tandoori starter was particularly... more

The best value hotel I've ever stayed in. Worth every penny. Rooms are fabulous. Staff are amazing. Splash out the extra money and stay here if you can. We were told it is Conde Nast hotel of the year 2009 and I can see why. They even sent someone with us to the airport to complete check in and make... more

If you ever wondered what to be "treated right royally" really means then spend a few nights at the Taj Rambagh Palace. I understand it is rated number one destination in the world by a variety of travel organisations and I can see why. This is less of a hotel and more of a cultural and heritage experience. This is... more
