The name Palace is very apt indeed! From the superb grounds to the opulent rooms this was a true highlight of our first visit to India. We were told to travel the best you could afford for the first time by an experienced traveller, on arrival at the Jai Mahal it's hard to beleive it's open to the public never... more

The Jai Mahal grounds and setting are typically colonial India, the reception and public areas of the hotel all live up to the Taj Palace hotel reputation however the rooms and service were very dissapointing. Our rooms overlooked the gardens and were pretty basic for the price tag Taj charge, the bathrooms were dated and on the whole the rooms... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Taj Jai Mahal Palace and we loved it. The breakfast buffet was very good and had Indian and European choices. The rooms were comfortable and good. We booked through the TajHotels.com website and took a breakfast/dinner inclusive deal. The hotel is a converted Palace and we enjoyed our stay there. The Taj Rambagh Palace... more

In July I traveled to Jaipur for work - an extended stay of almost 3 weeks. Tho' being away from home (U.S.) so long was tough, this hotel (a former palace) made me and my coworkers feel that we were in an oasis of beauty, comfort, security and being totally taken care of! The staff is excellent and attentive, the... more

We stayed for 3 weeks on business. The staff were friendly and took care of everything we needed. It was like home away from home only better. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. It was an oasis which made you forget what was outside the walls in the city. more

Friendly staff and a warm welcome! The grounds are excellent and as we were on a family holiday, we just stayed inside the hotel a couple of days swimming and in the children's playroom. We were given an excellent deal which included most of the evening meals. The dinner buffet is wonderful and I must have put on quite a... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Jai Mahal Palace. This was after spending 2 nights at the Oberoi Delhi and 1 night at the Oberoi Agra. While being extremely impressed with the Oberoi hotels, we were only somewhat satisfied with the Jai Mahal Palace. The staff was fairly friendly. Food was good. Room refrigerator was not working properly despite numerous... more

Very beautiful property and very well maintained. I went for a holiday with my family (mum, sis, kids etc) so we were looking for a wholesome entertainment and comfortable stay which Jai Mahal proved to be. Location benefit: 5 mins from main MI rOad which is the main commercial area of city and 10 mins from Walled City which is... more

I loved this hotel. We had come from Delhi and stayed in sterile highrise hotels. This hotel felt so authentic. Beautiful British touches blended with Indian design. Fresh flowers in the pond outside your door each morning. My room was in a side cabana and the tile and arches leading up to the room were gorgeous. Walking around the grounds... more

Our family took a 3 week adventure to India. Jaipur was one of our most favorite cities and the Jai Mahal was one of our favorite hotels. The grounds are so manicured. The rooms were somewhat small but very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and so friendly. The food is excellent and the entertainment was very enjoyable. The gentlemen... more
