Refurbished in 1994, The Haveli has been aesthetically restored, incorporating in itself the grandeur of traditional Rajput architecture. A rambling courtyard dominates the front facade of the Haveli. This area was once used for get-togethers by the men folk of the house - it is now open for guests to enjoy food and drink while they witness puppet shows and folk dance performances. Well-manicured gardens and a rippling marble fountain surrounded by lush greenery provide a haven of serenity for a weary traveler. “Excellent hospitality, dining, and sense of history”

Even though this wasn't among the most opulent or luxurious places I stayed at during the month I spent in India, I found the Alsisar Haveli to be quite lovely. “Beautiful hotel - an oasis in Jaipur”

This is a lovely hotel set in an old mansion (but bigger than that makes it sound). “Sweet "Best Marigold" Hotel”

What negatives this place has are overshadowed by the staff who genuinely try to please. The vibe is definitely "Best Marigold Hotel". Pool is a lovely respite in the heat and dust of Jaipur. Rooms are quaint. BUT - they must not use the screen of "Heritage Hotel" to pass off tired linens and stained upholstery. Bathrooms should be overhauled.... More

The entrance off the street is far from inviting. You may even hesitate to enter. However once parked in the small carpark you pass through to reception to this small Haveli. We felt this hotel was average. It didn't deserve the 4/5 star rating. We were shown to our room when it wasn't ready and had 1/2 a dozen chaps running round trying to finish cleaning it.
