Savista is a paradise located right outside of the busy and loud city of Jaipur. I recommend staying at Savista for pure rest and relaxation - much needed after a long day of sightseeing in Jaipur. The food is fresh and delicious and the place is kept spotlessly clean. The rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated with art from... more

In early 2008 we spent several weeks travelling around northern and western India, staying mostly in comfortable city hotels (we both have to take care of our health). We had a really tremendous time, but perhaps the most enjoyable couple of days were spent at this wonderful sanctuary, located about twenty kilometres outside of Jaipur, in rural Rajasthan. The hotel's... more

Savista Retreat is what it claims to be--a rural retreat from the noise, bustle and overwhelming human presence of the large Indian city. Located close to village life, Savista Retreat is a thirty minutes' drive from Jaipur. The sprawling haveli-style "hotel" in a twelve-acre garden and farm setting is the home of a native of Rajasthan and descendant of the... more

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a change from staying in the cities. It is near a village and a short car ride to Jaipur. The owners are lovely and they and all of the staff are very welcoming. My husband and I stayed there at the end of March and as it was the... more

I had heard so much about Savista but it exceeded every expectation. A true retreat in a wonderful place. We enjoyed delightful service and surroundings, sunrises, sunsets and the food was far too delicious! I will return to enjoy superlative hospitality and tranquility. Additional benefit was easy access to Jaipur - a fascinating, colourful and characterful city - and miles... more

‘This is a summary of my retreat to Savista with a friend and, unfortunately, I was only there for a week. Being my first retreat to India, I was not sure what to expect. I am so glad that I did - it was heaven. Living and working in London, I did need a break and Savista gave me that.... more

While scouting the Internet for a place to stay near Jaipur, Savista Retreat was the only one that seemed suited to our requirements. Still there was an apprehension whether it would be the same as mentioned on the website. A couple of phone calls to the owner Me Rashiyesringa assured that whatever was shown was what we would get. He... more

After all the chaos of India, this was heaven! I had been in India 3 weeks, and when I arrived at Savista it was wonderful to be able to hear myself think again! The place is so tranquil, the people are so warm and friendly it really is a class apart from everything else I experienced on my travels in... more

An idyllic five days spent in this glorious spot, close to Jaipur but away from the frenetic atmosphere of the town. The food was excellent and served in abundance. Facilities were extensive and the rooms cool and well furnished But what made Savista Retreat so special was the warm wecome we got from both the patron and all the staff.... more

At first, my boyfriend and I were a little aprehensive about booking this place because there were not any reviews online(it's a new establishment) but their website looked very promising. We took a chance and we're both very glad that we did! The owners are fantastic, very acommodating and keen to offer any help/advice about the local area. The rooms... more
