First of all: this is not a hotel! We couldn’t tell what it is though, something between a homestay, a rest from the noises of Indian cities, and a small version of heaven maybe? What made Savista so special to us? Most of all the hosts, the hosts, and again the hosts – Radhika and Bhanwar were not only warm... more

We searched out "eco"-friendly places to stay during our visit to India, and found this online. It lived up to expectations, with the owners going to great lengths to run their lovely inn as sustainably as possible, without compromising on comfort or beauty. One of the owners took the time to explain their environmentally-friendly measures, which include solar water heating... more

My husband and I loved this resort outside of Jaipur in an area of Rajasthan with a very rural feel. Before booking you should be aware that the hotel is not in Jaipur, and if you plan to visit the city you will have to take a car to get there. We initially planned to use Savista as a base... more

I also took the opportunity to book this hotel after visiting TripAdvisor. The owner Radhika was excellent, but she was not there when we arrived. I am currently writing this from another hotel in Jaipur because our experience was a very bad one. First the good, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. We were the ONLY guests at that... more

We arrived at Savista Retreat after staying at the Trident hotel in Agra .. and found Savista totally different for all the right reasons. It's personal, and it's authentic. The owner's family has lived in the beautiful building for generations, and the love and care which has gone into an eco-friendly renovation programme is clearly evident. The classic 'haveli' design... more

This was our 5th trip to India and our 4th separate visit to Jaipur and we have always enjoyed our stay sat the many different hotels we have visited. Our experience at the Savista Retreat has spurred me to make my first ever review on Tripadvisor, such is our level of disappointment. Firstly the positives: Clean rooms, comfortable beds with... more

Savista Retreat has only been open less than a year. The owners have been renovating the maginificent old building for 7 years. It is 45 mins from Jaipur in the countryside. The setting is great, it is peaceful and there are plenty of birds to see. The problem is the place is not yet up to speed. At $200 Australian... more

We have stayed in the Savista Retreat for 3 nights. I loved the architecture and large garden around the hotel. During our stay we visited a restaurant in Jaipur and then we have suffered of gastrointestinal problems. The owners took care of us, prepared special meal and were very careful. This is an eco-friendly place, very peaceful, out of noisy... more

The exterior of the building is beautiful but thats about all it has going for it. The road, as others have mentioned, is very very rough and at the moment they are building huge developments with housing, shops etc very near to this hotel. Jaipur really is on the up and up. This hotel is a long way from the... more

Our stay at Savista was exactly what we’d hoped for. The comforts of a superior branded hotel with the added charm and character of a lovingly restored, historical home. The owners were truly warm and gracious, offering us a high level of personalized service. They were always present and available to chat, advise or arrange but with great sensitivity to... more
