This property is locted just off the bustling Mount Road in Chennai City. I happenned to stay for 3 trips during Oct/Nov. You can order a dessert buffet here - and its open very late indeed (we landed there at around 11 pm and spent till like 1 AM there). The Location of the hotel is gr8 ~ very central , roof top swimming pool is just too good, rooms are very contemporary and chic, Food is also Gr8! All in all..had a fabulous time! Would definitely love to stay there again ! more
Stayed there for one night. First Was checked into a Smoking Room whereas I am a Sikh!! The Taj Mount Road is the newest Taj property in Chennai, their 3rd. It has what you would expect from a modern 5 star property. The rooms are very nicely done up with all the luxuries of a modern property including a large LCD Tv, etc. The Bar is very nice and they make some great Sangrias..... The coffee shop... more
