We have stayed at the Broadway a couple of times and cannot fault it.
Huge old colonial rooms, great room service and really good food. The restuarant is always packed with locals.
The broadway is basic accomadation with great character. Get away from the tourist nightmare of Sudder Street and get a feel of the real Kolkata.
