Extrememly clean, basic accommodation. No TV (Hello, hostel!) The food is delicious homely bengali food! Staff is really friendly. Location wise, it is very near to the bus stop and just few minutes away from the metro station. The manager is a bit strict, but the lovely pristine rooms, food and the ambience of raw kolkata around, makes up! :)

Accommodation is simple and nice, i like the food cooked there too. Only problem is distance from the main city, but the hostel people are happy to help and give directions.The victoria Memorial was nice and the metro is so cheap with AC!!!The Tram takes ages to move.
