Econolodge Foley, AL. Old, loud, people running up and down outside yelling, rained and water standing all over walkways. Housekeeping leave carts out in walkway so you cannot get by. Price was OK more
We are an exterior corridor requires each housekeeper to have her cart with her at each door on the room that she is cleaning. I booked a room at Econolodge because almost all the other hotels in the area were booked since I needed a room the very next day. When entering the room, everything looked fine. First the guest should have at least asked for new pillows. We were not given the opportunity to even take care of the problem. Also, the hot tub and kiddie pool were in the process of being remodeled. Our pool is a very large round pool.
This property was formerly Holiday Inn Express and is now Econo Lodge; same building, just a different name and obviously new ownership. In June 2009 I stayed twice with friends.
