This state park far exceeded our expectations. It is in a great location, close to the Gulf coast Islands National Seashore. There is plenty to do: bird watching, beach combing (fabulous beaches), hiking, bike riding. The park has every amenity, including swimming pool, tennis courts, full hook ups at every camp site, attentive camp personnel. Love this place!

Our family of 4 adults and 5 children stayed in these 3 bedroom, 3 bath cottages on the Lake for three nights the week before Easter. My parents & in laws stayed there while we camped. Very clean & in good shape. They have an excellent playground right there & a fishing pier for the lake. The only thing we didn't like was the 4:00 check in. Wished it was earlier.

We are campground veterans....we travel by motorhome frequently. Can sincerely say that this is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed with. We stayed in the lakeside cabins. It was awesome. Very close to the beach pavillion. It is also close to several good restaurants. The cabin was very spacious and clean. There was a very nice screened in porch and you could walk to a little fishing pier on the lake.
