This hotel was a fun find. I would say the price was steep for the value, however, other hotels were comparable. This area does not have as many hotels as the Destin area. Above average may be stretching it, but definitely not average. Facility is undergoing some rennovation from recent hurricanes, there is some construction ongoing, but the rooms I saw were being redone. I called for directions and found Barbara at the front desk to be genuinely helpful. When I arrived, Bill checked me in quickly and professionaly. The room is clean, freshly painted and the TV has a great selection of channels including Fox News, my favorite news channel. more
