Not bad, not great. Room and bathroom were very large and we had great views. Housekeeping tended to be a bit sloppy. Interior starting to get shabby and in need of renovation eg the iron cord was seriously (and dangerously) frayed. Internet so slow in the club lounge we gave up. Went to melaka with friends for a night stay..we chose hotel equitorial after reading reviews of this hotel and the rest. Only a one night stay on tour, but was enjoyable experience. High floor room had views over adjacent schools and the town. Comfortable, clean and everything worked well. Had excellent buffet lunch and buffet breakfast both of which offered good quality and choice from the various cuisines as usual in Malaysian hotels. The Club room is very spacious, especially the bathroom! 2 balconies with views of the city and sea. The Club Lounge is quiet and offers lots of privacy. The staff there was very courteous and treated me like a VIP. Also, complimentary breakfast and wired and wireless Internet access made the Club room simply value for money! more

I have stayed here a number of times on business. The company we deal with has a deal with the hotel so they generally give us the club rooms. Nice spacious clean and quiet rooms with all amenities you would expect. Access to Equatorial Lounge on 21st floor is a nice perk. Price is fine. I would recommend this hotel... more

Right downtown, steps from the city centre mall, museum street and Jonkers Walk. Two good restaurants, great lounge with live band 5 nights a week. Breakfast buffet with egg station included. Nice room with both broadband and wireless. more
