I'll be brief and direct to the point: 1st-Room, well, decor are ok, no iron, when request, they provide this low quality iron that burn your clothes if you are not careful. 2nd-Breakfast - horrible. we have to search for food outside the hotel. 3rd- Reception-there's time when we wanted assistance but nobody is at reception, waited for 5 minutes... more

I check in with two families and this hotel was good. Its affordable and the staff are friendly. There was nothing much for breakfast... what do u expect.. the price is cheap! If this was the last room left in Malacca, I'd delay the trip. I was drawn in by this hotel's website (kudos to the photographer for doing an excellent job - the real thing doesn't looked an iota as nice). Pro: Relatively good location, Relatively cheap, Quite tastefully decorated Cons: Very poor breakfast, Seemed short-handed - breakfast tables not cleared quickly, Not thoroughly clean, Irons & ironing boards (had to asked from House Keeping) in very poor condition, one didn't work, House Keeping staff couldn't really speak English, Safe in the room not working.
