I stayed at the Old Harbin Hotel with a group of BMW motorcyle club members. I had a suite with a king size bed, a sitting room and bath. My son and grandson wound up staying with me in my suite because the weather. ran them out of the campground. The rooms were clean and sooo comfortable. You could not ask for nicer people. Gene and Earline Mc Daniels and their staff were gracious and so nice to all of us. It is the place to go for family reunions or groups (there is a camp ground just across the road). A little off the beaten track but well worth the effort. more

In April my husband and I took a trip to Northern Alabama.We found the Old Harbin Hotel on the webb and made a reservation for Friday nite. We arrived early and Mrs McDaniels showed us to our room. It turned out to be her apartment that she has. It was so spacious and beautiful.It was very clean and decorated so beautifully with white table cloths and antique dishes. It had two big {huge} bedrooms and two bathrooms A Huge living area and a fully equiped kitchen plus a large dining area. It was very clean and very well kept.The Inn Keepers,The McDaniels were very, very hospitable. Needless to say we stayed another night.We enjoyed a very nice breakfast with Mrs McDaniels as she told us the history of Navoo. We went sightseeingand came home and enjoyed coffee on the balcony that wraps aroung the old Hotel. Sat morning Mr McDaniels joined us for breakfast and we had another enjoyable visit. The price was very reasonable and we had a wonderful time, and made two good friends. I would... more
