This hotel had a very good rate online, so I booked it for one night. US$100 for a club-level room. The room was clean, the lobby was beautiful, and that's where the positives ended, in my opinion.

Upon arriving the hotel, I asked if I should proceed to the club lounge for check-in, as I had reserved a club level room. I was told no, and to check in right there. As a Platinum member, I asked about a room upgrade (which is almost always given). I was told that they'd already upgraded me to a club-level room. We went round and round about how I already reserved and paid more for a club level room before I finally gave up...While a suite would have been nice, it was only one night...I was tired, hungry and not up for an argument.

I asked if the evening club lounge reception was going on, I was a bit hungry/thirsty and per standard club level practice, arrived the hotel at 6PM--plenty of time for the 'cocktail' hours. That's when I was told the club lounge was closed for... more
