Stopped here for food because everything was closed. I tried two different mixed drinks, both of which were not good (including a long island iced tea). I also had the wonton soup, which was unappetizing. I wouldn't recommend eating here. They were very prompt and attentive.

After searching for a hotel that would put me close to the New International Exhibition venue and creature conveniences such as restaurants, the Courtyard seemed to fill the bill. Stayed here for 6 nights in October 2012, on a business trip. Within walking distance of the subway (8-10 min walk) and close to many restaurants and a shopping mall. Great service, well trained staff, English speaking. Great Spa, had a fabulous massage. Had snack and dinner in Hotel, good standard, fine dining, good service. The hotel location is good, hotel also provides free shuttle bus to hot sight seeing area.

Rating is actually not fair. I would consider this hotel GOOD, not average, but not very good. Staff is VERY GOOD. Very nice, friendly and always there to help out. Good price for the room. Hotel is old but rooms were great. This hotel has smoking rooms, so bathroom went had smoking smell in the morning time. Executive lounge with Western bfast choice was great. Location is good if you have work in the Pudong area. Internet speed was good and the room was clean although it looked a little dated. Concierge helpful, recommendations for restaurants were good. Front desk staff are friendly, let me check out of the hotel at 4p.m. as I had a evening flight out of Shanghai.
