It needs to live up to its 4 star rating, its a great location for business but the furnitire is all scratched , outside door paint is peeling, gym isnt maintained well( only two boze balls that havent ever beebn fully reinflated since they were purchased-)used body lotion a nd it wasnt replaced-needs tightnening -

Stayed during weekend at Shanghai PuDong Intercontinental. Service was good and up to expectation. There was wedding in hotel during weekend and as i was not in top floors it was just worst experience. People shouting/laughing (expected as it was wedding ) was too much and till 11pm. Bed was also not comfortable compared to other hotels. Location is good.

I have really enjoyed my stay at Intercontinental Shanghai Pudong. The service was remarkably good, staff really wants to help you. Rooms more than sufficient and the facilities where good! I will surely come back next time

Stayed again at the Intercontinental Pudong, this latest time to watch the Shanghai F1, was greeted warmly on arrival as a return guest and upgraded to great corner suite. All staff during my 8 day stay were without exception friendly and keen to provide good service, would recommend this hotel
