We stayed for 5 nights in June. The hotel evidenced excellent service, it is close to shopping Malls and some very good restaurants. Also close to the river which is perfect for an evening stroll. The selection of breakfast is out of this world offering many many varieties of cuisine. More

While I normally don't care to stay in the Pudong section of Shanghai, this hotel is truly beautiful and has great service. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the staff is exceptionally well trained. The public lounges are perfect for informal business meetings. More

Just don't forget to draw the curtain if you plan to sleep early in any of the corner rooms at the River View Wing since the neon lights from the next door building will surely brighten up your room and keep you awake until they are turned off at 11 pm.... Vis-a-vis Four Seasons in HK, the Shangri-la deluxe room (facing back), a staple for business travelers, is a letdown. But it's adequate with free wifi and a (busy) gym, which is also on the small side. The location is excellent, close to 2 large shopping centres with plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Had dinner in Yi Cafe one night, the selection is amazing and staff are very quick to clear dirty plates etc. If you can, upgrade to the club rooms as the club lounge is great.
