The rooms are good at this hotel. The air-conditioning works! The showers produce lots of hotwater on demand and best of all they have western style breakfast food, including sausages, bacon, eggs cooked to order, cereal and milk and even Chinese baked beans! Brilliant after 2 and 1/2 weeks of Chinese food 3 times a day (don't get me wrong... more
Stayed one night at this hotel. Took the bus from Pudong Airport to Shanghai Railway Station (Bus #5, 18RMB, pay on board), which took about 2 hours due to heavy traffic. However..... when we arrived the taxi took us through a very dodgy looking street which was miles away from Shanghai Centre and the Markets, the hotel was halfway down a shanty town street and was run down and dirty.... more
We spent 7 nights at this hotel and we enjoyed it very much. It is just a 5 minute walk from Shanghai Railway Station which is also the closest metro station. Hanzhong Lu station is also close but the metro stop at the railway station is easier to reach. Liang An is quite centrally located as it is situated only... more
