Stayed at the Bund Hotel April 22-24, 2013 after staying at the SunWorld in Beijing. The Bund was very nice - surprisingly up-scale. It reminded me of a good Marriott business hotel in the USA. The location is good for Nanjing Road and the old neighbourhood surrounding the hotel is interesting although there is construction right next door so do get a room on an upper floor to avoid the noise. We tried to get a corner room as per a Tripadvisor tip but were not able to in spite of booking months in advance.... More

Generally pleased with this place with comfortable room, bar, wifi in the lobby. It's only a 10 min walk to Nanjing Road so great for shopping and coffee and also a short walk to the Bund itself. So plenty to do in easy walking distance and all round good place if you get a good internet deal

Good location. Short walk to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Nice rooms. Good size and very comfortable. Good breakfast for buffet. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small shops and food nearby. Lively street atmosphere, with many locals nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel. Not 5 star..... But pretty close. I would stay here again.
