From the moment we pulled into the junked up parking lot, I had a feeling this was going to be a bad experience. It was during Mardi Gras and there wasn't a lot of people there. Now I know why. Parking lot had potholes. The lobby reaked of mildew. The staff was very rude. Our room wasn't ready until 3... more

This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. The outside of the hotel looked bad when we pulled up, but once inside all doubt as to cleanliness was removed. The workers didn't care about any of the complaints we had. We had ten families that stayed at the hotel. Two of the families were moved three times before they... more

Before coming to Las Brisas to join others at a conference held there, I read the reviews I could find. There were only two and they were bad. They had both been written after the bad storm had passed through and comments reflected its effects. So, I went there with an open mind, promising the manager that I would give... more

This place needs lots of improvement. I stayed there for three days and it was like being in a sit com. Granted, they're still recovering from Hurricane Ivan damage, there are things they can do to make guests comfortable. On my hall, there was a torn up green couch sitting outside the elevator. There was also a broken AC unit... more

Our stay had a few problems, our TV Channels were blurry the first night and 1 day out of 6 the room wasn't cleaned. We let the Front Desk know about the TV Channels and while we were gone that day, they sent someone up to fix the TV. When we got in for the day, we found out that... more

Ok, this hotel does have some problems but I had an enjoyable stay. I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. First off dont expect a 5 start hotel when you are paying $65 a night. I read the reviews of the bad rooms and mold but never saw any mold in my room. I had a room on the top... more

We had two rooms. Both had only 2 channels on the t.v. Both of the rooms and the hallways had dirty floors. The room on the 6th floor had only one brown stain on the water damaged ceiling in the bathroom. The room on the 1st floor was the worst. The whole bathroom ceiling was disgusting. There was a hole... more

I have been staying at this hotel now for a month. There are some problems but I have become to know the owner and manger of the hotel pretty well. At first I was very disappointed with the apperance of the room, however, any complaint that I had was promptly taken care of. The owners have been renovating this hotel... more
