Not many choices in Talladega so we stayed here because it was about 1/2 the price of the Holiday Inn Express next door (but it might be worth it). It's convient to dining and a walmart is next door. Conveniently located in a Super Wal Mart parking lot - sketchy but OK - that’s the Super 8 in Talladega and unfortunately Talladega options and alternatives at this price point are limited. I did notice there was a Holiday Inn Express under construction next door. Wall construction is flimsy so there is noise from above and three sides. Best bet... more

The reason I titled this 'Average - Unfortunaley' is because this is about what an 'average' Super 8 is like these days...and that is not necessarily a good thing. The Super 8 in Talladega AL was an OK value for the price. We paid $54.88 (including tax). As far as Super 8s go this was probably at least average.
