Good Hampton Inn Standard. After 2 weeks of Costa Rican nature we enjoyed the pleasures of a "city hotel". Much appreciated the free international phone calls, breakfast buffet and shuttle service to the airport. And not to forget about: the Denny's Diner right opposite. For a night close to the airport to catch the early flight absolutely recommendable.

Highly recommend this hotel for its close proximity to the airport. The employees were friendly and the accommodations very nice. They served the "regular" hot breakfast, as well as a traditional Costa Rican breakfast.

We stayed here just last week and are going back before leaving Costa Rica. The price for a kingsize bed and junior suite was lower than the Holiday Inn next door. Convenient, American style hotel, very close to the airport. Great for a first or last night. Very helpful multi-lingual staff. Excellent value for money. Restaurants close by are not that interesting but it's an easy taxi ride into San Jose.

great staff here. good amount of things to do nearby. stay here often on business travel. always a good experience. although I didn't use shuttles other than airport days. that is a good part of staying here as they are always available.

stayed for 2 nights may 2013,excellent staff and location(2 minute drive from airport)free shuttle every 10-15 minutes.very good breakfast.stayed one night at the Marriott also and the Hampton is better value for the money.15 minute walk to some great little places to eat.

I found great refuge here after a difficult and long day of driving from the Osa Penninsula on the south pacific coast. Kevin and Noelia were very welcoming and professional at check-in, and upgraded my room after all three of us were subjected to a couple of extremely obnoxious arrivals. We stayed here our last night before heading back home. :/ It was very close to the airport. Clean, great breakfast. And it's great you can pay the departure tax at the hotel, the line was super long at the airport. We would stay again for sure.
