Excellent B&B! Agree with what the UK poster found a year ago. I wandered in & out and stayed for 4 nights out of a 3 weeks stay. Sylvia prepares wonderful breakfasts! Norman and Isabel are very gracious hosts who very quickly make you feel as if you're family. I much, much prefer staying in Alajuela than in San Jose.... more

LODGINGS There are a number (about 6) of very different rooms at Vida Tropical - each with a unique name such as Bamboo or Fish.
