We happened upon this great hotel/restaurant/bar from reading a guide book on Costa Rica. it is family owned (American), in a gorgeous setting and very friendly. The hotel is backpacker style, clean, queen bed, super hot shower :) and a great open area downstairs for food, drink and friendly conversation.
