We went to The Jungle House with my whole family... I had my 3 and 1 year old, and there were about 16 of us total. We stayed in the big house, and it was really comfortable and plenty of room. The beach is just across the little dirt street. The beach was clean, and beautiful, and was so shallow, perfect for our kids.
Charlie is American, and treats you like family. This is a Jungle-type experience, so don't expect 4 stars, but we loved it. This was just what we wanted, a Costa Rica experience, not a nice American hotel in Costa Rica. There were plenty of little "restaurants" around to eat at, or a little market that we bought stuff to make our own meals. We found frogs in the kitchen in the morning, my little boy had to say goodnight to his "friend" the gecko that lived on the wall, and one morning a monkey came in our house to eat a cockroach. Don't let this scare you though! We loved it. It made us realize how we rely on TV and electricity too much...
