Convenient location and adequate room at a very good price for Costa Rica suitable for a single night stay. Staff were actually helpful but it does feel like a bit of a motel. Very cheap though for an acceptable room.

Would not recommend this place. Shabby decor and maintenance, horrible hill and many steps to the pool and restaurant, no immediate beach access from hotel and lacking security. Nice people & nice view from upper level rooms but that's not nearly enough. Better to pay more and get more.

Very unfriendly girl at the receptionat night. Waitress hides as she sees you approche the bar to order a drink, Rooms are small and far from clean. Didn't she the coke dealer offering prostitutes mentioned in an other post, but I wouldn't have surprised me. For $35 there are far better options. Best thing about it is cheking out.
