My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in mid-March 2005. We were in the area for his biology field research.

This is a mid-low price range motel right off the PanAmerican Highway. It is near Hotel Boyeros and Hotel Bramadero and the 2 Best Westerns We paid $35 per night. The Fodors review is pretty accurate. Although the hotel is right off the freeway, it is set back from the road so we didn't have any street traffic at all. The rows of wooden rocking chairs are lovely. There is a field next door where local kids play soccer! There are outdoor showers for you to rinse off if you come back from the beach (30mins away) or from a hike. The accomadations are basic. Air conditioning (loud units), fans, 13 inch TV on a high stand. But the room and bathroom are huge and clean. We had a queen size bed, but they have 2 doubles available too.
