It was a perfect place to relax before heading home. Mariana was so hospitable that she took me to her pilates class with her. Wifi, close to good food amenities, and a great art gallery. Close to airport and she gives you a ride there. I highly recommend. More

Right from the start we were enthralled by the beauty of the premises: lots of outside relaxing area, a beautiful kid corner, gorgeous rooms with lots of style and great mattresses and pillows. The breakfast is really good too. We found the place to be a bit noisy at night because of the central location (people around talking loudly around... More

It's right next to the main road, but you wouldn't know it as it feels very idyllic, and the rooms are 'boutiquey' in feel and very clean and spacious. Breakfast wonderful - freshly baked bread. More

El Punto was the perfect place to relax on our last night in Costa Rica. The owner, Mariana, has impeccable style, and has clearly worked hard to make El Punto a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Colorful paintings hang in the rooms and common areas, and part of the hotel is even used as a gallery that highlights work... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the last night of our honeymoon before flying out of Liberia the following day. We were attracted by El Punto because of positive reviews in LP and its eclectic and different vibe. We thought the price was a little high but gladly paid the 98$ for air conditionning, breakfast, and a... More

I traveled to El Punto with my mother-in-law, my wife, my 5 month-old son, and my 5 year-old daughter. This is a fairly eclectic little hostel, painted in beautiful colors, with rooms laid out in a unique way. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again. Pros: 1) Location was awesome! The hotel is within easy walking distance of... More

El Punto was colorful and clean. We only stayed one night after arriving late at the Liberia airport. Definitely bring ear plugs if you have trouble sleeping, there is a restaurant/bar not far which is open until about midnight? Breakfast in the morning was tasty and served in a quaint little breakfast room by friendly servers. My only real complaint... More

Recently spent 4 nights at El Punto in Liberia and could not have been happier or more impressed. Mariana has such a sense of style about her and it is reflected in the look and feel of El Punto. A small and intimate place that was clean, fresh and friendly. Breakfast was first class and all of the staff at... More

Excellent place to stay with a lot of personality. Rooms were comfortable and unique - service by owner Mariana and her staff was warm and friendly. Mariana helped us with suggestions for various day trips. Location in Liberia is great - very convenient to restaurants, supermarket, etc. If you want something other than a boring chain hotel, I highly recommmend... More

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights here. Mariana was very nice to pick us up at the airport and check us into the hotel directly. We found the place quite charming, the colors are bright and the furnishings have a fun sense of style. It is a modern building that is well-maintained, as opposed to most of the hotels... More
