Casa Canela is a cute house located about 3 blocks from the main square in Liberia. We stayed in one of the shared bathroom rooms and, although it was a bit small (about 10x10), it was clean and had nice decor. If you don't want to spend much and need a decent place to stay in Liberia this is the place. We also shared a couple of beers with the owner, Aaron, who was very welcoming and open to talk to us, whether it was US politics or investment opportunities in Gunacaste. At the end he even gave us a discount for the room!
