Hotel Giada has a good location in a very small town. The rooms are more practical than nice looking and the two rooms we stayed in had AC, fan, cable TV and a safety box. Just got back from a week in CR and spent the first three nights at the Hotel Giada. The staff was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The back of the hotel is newer with bettter a/c, windows, tvs etc. the front room, which we were switched to, had some noise/heat problems. If you can, stay in the newer rooms. The food, as everyone has said, is great. The front desk can be hit or miss, but they helped with our transportation needs. I'd stay here again... more

I checked out Giada after spending a night at another Samara Hotel, and moved to Giada immediately. The staff were fabulous - always friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel that fools you when you pull up. The restaurant is very good. The rooms are nice, comfortable...pools are small but very nice. TV channels are good. The people are very nice and helpful. We had #19 and the air conditioning was great, good shower, patio right at the pool. more

Good hotel. Far better than everage in Costa Rica. Clean high quality rooms with airconditioning and fan. Some older rooms in the first block of the hotel may not have airco. Ask for room # 13 - 25.
