My best friend and I did a girls getaway and couldn't have chosen a more scenic or laid back hotel. A six-room horseshoe-shaped hotel right on the beach, run by one of the coolest ex-pat couples in town. I"m only sorry we didn't bring any craft beer for Phyllis's hubby — will do next time ;). “Walk out of your apartment and straight into the sea!”

Hotel Fenix has one of the most enviable locations on the beach. When the tide is in it's literally a seashell's throw from the water's edge.
