This is a great hotel if you want to just hang out, lounge around and just take in the sun. The grounds are beautiful, with a great pool and great staff. The spa is secluded with private bungalows. This hotel was a highlight of our honeymoon. Because we were there in Oct, it was low season so they were running with only 20% of the rooms filled. I very much liked this hotel and the service was excellent. Our room was very nicely decorated with a wihirlpool tub in the bath and a very comfortable bed that just sucks you in. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Mid October and really loved it. We drove there from San Jose and it took about 5 hours with stops. The roads were not bad until the very end where it was dirt roads for the last 30 mins or so. We had a GPS and this was a huge help.... more
