This place is beautiful. July is rainy season in Costa Rica but I had great weather while there. The Santuary is off the beaten path literally. You have to drive on several dirt roads to get to the resort. My friends and I loved it. It's far from any night life so don't expect it. It's a great resort to get away from the concrete jungle and really appreciate the splendor of a real jungle. There are only 2 restaurants on the property but food was excellent. There's a tour desk there as well. I recommend the Arenal Tour and the Canopy Tour, both were great. The beach has black sand and pretty big waves. more
