From the sounds of the write up in Lonely Planet, JC and Friends had better days. The rooms are not that bad, affordable for the area and having a kitchen will save you a lot of money. The rooms run around a small pool, but I wouldn{t swim in it if I was you, especialy with the ocean a mere five minutes away. Free internet, a shared television are good but the place looks a litle run down. The kitchen was a bit dirty and the washroom is so-so. Can be okay if the right crowd is there. I would stay somewhere else next time, but would take JC and friends again if nothing of similar value could be found. more
