Hotel Roma was a clean, pleasant hotel in Heredia, with good service. The hotel apartments were complete with a fully stocked kitchen and were also comfortably furnished. The manager and staff was very helpful to us and went out of their way to meet our needs. The catered breakfast was good when we did not want to cook our own.... more

Hotel Roma is real Costa Rica. If you want the Tica experience this neighborhood, the Jardine Roma (Roman Gardens) neighborhood has the whole package. Want some roasted chicken late at night? It was the worst place I've ever stayed. The owned, Nidia said there were fans in the room, there were no fans, and it felt like a steam oven in the room.
