Nice and quiet, sorrounded by wildlife. Very clean. Terraces very original. Restaurant staff quite helfpul. Half board buffet not very varied neither abundant, if you are not eating at the very first time they run out of food and do not even refill it. We did a tour of Costa Rica and this was one of my favourite hotels, an absolute gem. It was also a treat to dry out after Tortuguero! This hotel is supposed to give you nice rooms, good food and activities; however, they're not as good as they say (though they charge you that way). The hotel is on the edge of tropical rainforest, with a large garden area at the rear where you can see native plants and wildlife. There are covered walkways between the blocks of rooms, with lush heliconias and other plants on both sides, all of which are labelled.
