This one is worth a look. There are cheaper places in the area, but we looked around while we were there, and this one was a great deal. Perfect for a group, with the kitchenette in the middle. Also great for romance, as each cabin is a distance from the others. The people are friendly and helpful. The place is brand new and sparkling clean. You will find this one suitable for all. The beds are good, the bathrooms are clean, the cabins are cleaned daily. It is walking distance from town, but not right in the heart. Take a look at the photos and website, it tells it all. We were pleased with our time here. (and go see the sloth sanctuary while you are there) more

We spent six days in the luxury of the Cuidad Perdita Ecolodge. The Lodge is located beside the Cahuita National Park about 300 metres from the town and the park entrance.

The unit was hand crafted and showed the loving care put into its construction. It was equipped with air conditioning. The unit had a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. The gardens are lovely. Birds come to feeding platforms overlooked by the windows of the cabin. The staff maintains each cabin in spotless condition with daily cleaning. The owners live on the site and do everything n their power to make your visit relaxing and enjoyable.

The Lodge is associated with Cahiuta Tours. Sandra Streber, the owner/manager of the Lodge, arranged tours for us tailored to the restricted mobility of my wife. The guides from Cahuita Tours bent over backwards to make sure my wife saw as much as possible on the tours we took with them
