This was an amazing place. There are plants everywhere and it's really clean. The rooms were nice and the staff was excellent. I also enjoyed the food. This was most definitely one of my favorite hotels in Costa Rica. more

We stayed at El pizote, nice staff, nice place, nice rooms and clean, however the beaches are not near, "playa negra beach" is worst beach in area. This "hotel" was without a doubt the worst hotel we stayed in in Costa Rica. It was extremely run down, for example, there was mildew on the soaps and towels and the sheets had holes in them, the place was infested with insects ect.
