Stayed here for a few nights while living in Costa Rica in 2004. Great place just north of Punta Uva run by totally friendly english-speaking local owner who is also a great cook. Its off the beaten path on the road south from Puerto Viejo and in a very quiet spot. The beach is about 100 yards down the road and is usually all yours. Its still reasonably close to Puerto Viejo if you want to hop in the back of a truck to go party but far enough away where you can get the true Caribe thing going on. I plan on going back once I get back down to Costa Rica.
