The falls hotel is very unassuming from the exterior, but once you go through the gated entry, you are transported into a lush rainforest. Although not huge, the pool is set in a beautiful setting facing the beautiful gardens and waterfall. The water was the perfect temperature and was very refreshing as it was very hot while we were there.... more

My wife and I love traveling in both Central America and South America. This past December we spent 8 days exploring the central and south Pacific areas of Costa Rica. During our visit we stayed 7 out of 8 days at the Falls in Manuel Antonio as it had been recommended by friends. This is by far one of the... more

My group of 8 stayed at The Falls Resort in November and this lovely boutique hotel lived up to its reviews and then some. The rooms and setting are lovely. Location is great and the service is the best ever. Special arrangements were made for a tour of the park, every request was met with "we'll try to do that"... more

It is not a five star resort, but definitely with me, they earned them all!!! They currently have a hotel construction near the it, but with so much nature around, you don’t even notice it…. This hotel is literally in the jungle, beautiful gardens, very peaceful, and serene. Beautiful infinity pool with the jungle view and lots of nature and... more

The Falls was a great place to stay. The Staff As several other people have noted, the staff was excellent. They give excellent advice on where to eat, what to do and what to see. All the food recommendations were A+ As noted in a review below, Charlie the bartender is an asset to The Falls resort. He’s friendly, and... more

Come on people, Garden of Eden? I think not. We booked our stay at "The Falls" based on Tripadvisor reviews and though we were not totally disappointed, we would have been had we not received a discount due to construction next door. Here's the breakdown: * Breakfast is ok. Some stuff is good, some stuff not so fresh. * Staff... more

The property is set right in the middle of a beautifully manicured jungle. Many restaurants and café’s are within walking distance while Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach are a five-minute bus ride down the hill. The bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel…so easy! The hotel is currently renovating some of the rooms and we stayed... more

After spending a couple of weeks traveling Central America on mission trips, we decided to spend our final 4 days (which also fell on our 10 year anniversary) in Costa Rica. We spent close to a month researching where we would stay and finally decided on The Falls At Manuel Antonio. From the moment we arrived we were just simply... more

Wow, what a beautiful hotel that is tucked away in the side of the mountain. Yes, there are many hotels down this narrow road, but The Falls has the beauty on the outside and also the beauty of the people who work there. That can make or break a beautiful place. The warm and welcoming feeling you get the moment... more
