La Colina was our first stop in Costa Rica and our stay there is one of our favorite memories. We had a great time. Our Ocean View room was big and clean. The hotel pool/bar was a great, relaxing way to spend the evening after a day of hiking and playing in the waves at Manuel Antonio National Park. There... more

I went to Manuel Antonio with no hotel reservations, just a few recommendations from tour/travel agents in Montezuma. I asked my taxi driver to take me to the 4 places on my short list so that I could see which place I would like to stay (IF they had room!). On the way to the first hotel, I just happened... more

I recently stayed at La Colina for 3 nights. For Manuel Antonio, I thought the value was great. I stayed in a room on the top with a nice view of the Pacific. For what I paid, the room was fine: AC, hot water with great water pressure, good breakfast included. The bar and the pool areas are a great... more

My boyfriend and I traveled to Costa Rica for the first time and we chose to stay here. We stayed in the Ocean view room (AMAZING view) and were supposed to switch to the jungle view for the last 3 nights. They offered for us to stay in the ocean view at a lower cash price, so we said SURE!!... more

My boyfriend and I live in Costa Rica and Manuel Antonio is definitely one of our favorite beaches. We usually rent condos when coming with a bigger group but every once in a while when we go by ourselves we stay at a hotel for a couple of days. After searching the net for affordable hotels in the area we... more

During our 3 week holiday in Costa Rica we stayed a many simple places wirh great value and we only required a clean room and atmosphere to have a pleasant stay. It was to our surprise and sadness that this hotel will be forever remembered as our worst place of our entire trip! Thank goodness we only stayed 1 night!... more

The hotel website says 5 minutes to the beach, but this is only if you have a car. It is probably a 40 minute walk to the beach. The bus stop is also not extremely convenient. It is either 1/2 mile up the (steep) mountain or 3/4 mile down the mountain. Proximity to the beach aside, it was a very... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend in July of 2009 and when i left I felt like i made close friends for life. The hotel is only a 5 minute taxi ride from either Quepos or Manuel antonio beach and it's a 50 cent bus ride to either. At the reception Lorena is really sweet and friendly and very accomodating!... more

We drove by this hotel and asked for the availability. It looked like a fun hotel to stay and the hotel had a swimming pool. The first room we saw was the one at the lower level. I felt really sad when I saw the room - I could stay if I had no choice, but I preferred not to.... more
