I see the negative reviews mentioning the road noise (which stopped between midnight and 7 AM) and the rooms being small. For a budget hotel, those things were not important to my friend and me, as long as we had two beds, which the Babaloo had for its basic rooms. Our top priorities were cleanliness, saftey, and good location, which... more

Very nice little place, clean rooms with a balconey. The upper rooms above the office have a great view. Other rooms have a view of the forest which is good too. Friendly people, nice clean pool, small and deep. $48 a night this time of season. The Mar Luna across the road entices you with aromas of food cooking but... more

Stayed for the 4th time @ the Babaloo with Dave & Faye. But why do I and my friends keep coming back to this hotel? Because the staff makes it a safe & friendly experience - i feel very at home & relaxed - no worries once I get there. Everything from setting up tours & transportation to washing my... more

We arrived to the room and noticed the sheets were stained, there was an open used soap bar in the shower. The room was very tiny and the ants are crawling EVERYWHERE! (Even on the bed). The TV does not have a control neither does the A/C (When we asked they said some rooms do and some dont). I think... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at the Hotel Babaloo Inn. We had suite #3 on the top level with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. David and Faye, the owners, treated us just like family. They bent over backwards to answer all of our questions and to try to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They were... more

We only stayed at the hotel for one night in high season. The hotel was very clean with nice decor and lovely little balconies facing the jungle. the beds were very comfortable and our friddge had a coffee maker and mini fridge, which came in handy. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating and offered many services including... more

The Babaloo Inn is family owned and operated and family friendly. We had a small room in the lower pavilion with views of the jungle and were very happy to be away from the street, which is a main thoroughfare. We also saw a larger room with kitchen and a view of the ocean, but it was just too large... more

My wife, two daughters, and myself spent 5 nights at the Babaloo. The owners and staff were fantastic and I would highly recommend staying at this property. Our room was perfect for us...we had a king size bed and two twins were provided for the children. It was quite spacious and the kitchen facilities were a huge plus. We stocked... more

We only stayed here for one night so it's just one night of experience but....it was just ok. The rooms were clean but really tiny and at over $100 a night, I expected a bit more. When we arrived, we were greeted by about 8 monkeys in the mango trees right outside our rooms jumping and making noises over mangos... more
