Spent 5 days here and enjoyed every last minute. The Staff is superb, every detail is thought of and exquisitely executed. The entire staff seems to know your name and always greets you with a smile. The pools are incredible, there are amazing views of the jungle and the Pacific no matter where you are. The sunsets are breathtaking. Terra... More

We just spent a week at this incredible property for an anniversary trip. The best way to describe our experience is we now know what it is like to be a celebrity! Everyone greeted us by name and there was nothing they couldnt or wouldnt do for us! The concierge set up incredible excursions- private tour of Manuel Antonio with... More

We spent 10 days in Costa Rica and decided to spend out last couple of nights in Manuel Antonio at the Gaia Hotel. What can we say - these guys have not missed a single detail and the staff at Gaia is top notch. They were always available and super helpful with anything we needed. The hotel is tucked away... Simply paradise... Our room was gorgeous and the food was spectacular and... More

We are indeed very pleased that we exceeded your expectations. When creating Gaia, we had guests like you in mind. Sophisticated, well traveled and with an eye towards having fun in a relaxed and adult atmosphere. It certainly is nice to make new friends having met them around the pool area or during tapas at the Ambar Lounge. You are... More

We booked rather last minute, so took the ratings of TripAdvisor on hotels in Manuel Antonio and booked Gaia. Got a discount and complimentary 20 minute massage for both of us -- the therapist Vanessa was excellent, however, we were supposed to have a couples treatment but one therapist was sick so we had to go individually. Vanessa provided an... More

I want to thank our recent guest from Staten Island New York for taking the time to write comments on their recent stay at Gaia. We were indeed happy to provide you with an upgrade to our two bedroom two bath villa with the private rooftop deck. Not quite sure about the comment on the vistas of the pool. Our... More

EXQUISITE!! We celebrated our 20th anniversary at the GAIA. From the moment we arrived we were treated as honored guests. The owners and the staff work together like family to create an enviroment of friendliness, hospitality and luxury. The restaurant (La Luna) is a gastronomical delight, with eye dazzeling views and an aura of relaxation. We want to thank the... More

I chose Gaia because of the 5 star reviews. I was not disappointed, It was better than described! Careful attention to every detail led to a dream vacation. Personal service was at its best. Room service was superb. I had reserved a deluxe suite which had a panoramic view of the rainforest and ocean beyond. Every sunset was postcard perfect.... More

Gaia is starkly modern in design, consisting of white, cube-shaped units set atop a green hillside about two miles from Manual Antonio National Park. It is expensive, and lavishly staffed. Our accommodations--bedroom, sitting room, two balconies--could only be described as opulent. The staff was ubiquitous and eager to please. For all that, there were minor flaws--intermittent wi-fi slowness, weird light... More

Thanking our recent guests from Washington D.C. for taking their time to write a review on this Tripadvisor forum. Indeed, we are not the norm here in Manuel Antonio nor in Costa Rica for that matter. We are clean, crisp and have raised the level of hospitality here by providing our guests a level of service now coveted by other... More

My husband and I consider ourselves seasoned travelers. Gaia is an exceptional hotel for many reasons. This hotel is more like a romantic enclave that captures the luxury of a full-service resort, while delivering intimacy and comfort of a private home. We stayed in the large, well appointed 2 bedroom villa with a rooftop terrace. The sunsets from the rooftop were... More

Well, your words are exceptional! We feel we raised the bar here in Manuel Antonio on our level of service coupled with our unique architectural design and various factors that spoil our guests. All this is complemented by the type of guests that are attracted to Gaia and the reason we have repeat guests year after year. Thank you for... More

We spent 6 wonderful nights at Gaia for Christmas 2011 with our family. I have discovered Gaia outside of Tripadvisor and booked the holiday in the hotel's exclusive multi-bedroom villa. I did some extensive reading and due diligence on the property and also read all the raving reviews on Tripadvisor after booking. We have traveled the world and stayed at... More
