We booked this hotel solely because it was Easter week and there were no other vacancies in Manuel Antonio. We could find very little information about the hotel so we were not sure what to expect.

We were pleasantly surprised with Villas Lirio. Although it doesn't have a sea view, we found the grounds nice, the pool area is cute and the restaurant/bar is cool.

Due to a missed connection we ended up arriving really late at the hotel (around 3am). I called ahead from Atlanta airport to let them know and they left keys with the night security guy.

One thing to note is that English was not widely spoken by the staff and we seemed to be the only non-Ticas there (but it was Easter week). Still, we got by and the staff were pleasant.

Overall we were happy and it was just a few miles from Manuel Antonio National Park. more
