Wonderful cabins - clean, bright. Kitchens are well stocked with appliances. It's difficult to find cheap food in Monteverde these days, so having a kitchen was great. This review is probably biased because of how much we liked Monteverde in general but we could not have asked for more in a place to stay. The cabins were clean and homey and well-stocked with an almost hilarious amount of usable kitchen tools. Beautiful grounds, located perfectly between the national park and Santa Elena. My 19-year-old daughter and I stayed in one of the charming cabanas for two nights in mid-August and absolutely loved it! Each cabana has its own garden with an outside table, and is very comfortable and clean inside, with a well equipped kitchen, living room area, and bedroom. The large cabin, near Monteverde's Cloud Forest - and in its own lush, quiet setting - was extremely comfortable, relaxing and clean. Rafael, owner/manager was very accommodating, friendly and helpful; close to all sites. One of the nicest places in which we stayed. more
