"Lots of interesting artifacts. This place oozes relaxation... The Staff, I found were super friendly, helpful in every way possible. All spoke good english. Plenty of helpful "to do" books available..." The atmosphere is lively and fun in the restaurant, yet when the traveler wants some quiet time, there are three pools to retreat to (as well as your room, of course)! The mono azul hotel is a really down to earth, rainforest themed hotel located on the way to manuel antonio national park. during my stay, the rooms were well maintained and were comfortable. i had a/c the whole time, which was a great break from the heat of costa rica. also booked an atv and canopy tour through the hotel.... more
