We stayed here one night. The location is great - we had an excellent view of the National Theatre from our window. We could also walk to most places we wanted to see. We stayed in the Gran Hotel for the first night of our three night stay in San Jose. The location is perfect, and the public areas are elegant. The breakfast is very good.
