Not sure why our travel agent recommended this place. It is in sad need of an Extreme Makeover... peeling wallpaper, water stains, etc. And the clientele was a bit questionable at the late hour we checked in. Included breakfast was average. Overall service was slow and somewhat incompetent. more

This hotel is sorely in need of a remodel and upgrade of bed linens, carpets, drapes, etc. The shower was very dark and had a loose fan cover hanging over the top of it, with mildew in the corners. Though ageing a bit, this hotel has a great location, excellent service staff, and value rates. The rooms are clean and for anyone doing business in San Jose, it`s a good choice. They also have an unlimited international calling plan for $20 a day. more

Stayed three nights. Convienent and nice. New owners (American hotel group) so more English friendly than before. Good casino and lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel is in the process of taking over and changing restaurant which is good because the food was okay but expensive and all Italian. TV's could use an upgrade but I didn't go to watch TV.... more
